Automated System for Sale of Mobile SIMs Commercially Launched by PTA and Mobile Sector.


PTA and all cellular companies , on 4 april, commercially launched an automated procedure for Sale of Mobile SIMs. In the new system, the subscribers’ documentation and Pre-Sale of sims would be automated thereby linking it with already automated Post-Sale procedure called 789.


If you want to buy a sim, you need to show your original CNIC at any registered sales point. The sales person should sms the CNIC of customer to a short code to authenticate.
Only the sims sold through registered sales point would be activated after calling 789.
